gange. Fregatten havde flere kendte befalingsm\u00e6nd, herunder Prins Karl (senere Kong Haakon af Norge). P\u00e5 den caribiske \u00f8 St. Thomas, kunne Valdemar Riise, s\u00f8n af A.H. Riise, se den flotte fregat l\u00e6gge til kaj i hovedstaden Charlotte Amalie. I dag er Fregatten Jylland verdens st\u00f8rste bevarede tr\u00e6skib. Det er et helt unikt skib som ikke alene er en del af Danmarks historie, men ogs\u00e5 en del verdens kulturarv. Derfor er det heller ikke helt tilf\u00e6ldigt, at det netop er Fregatten Jylland, som A.H. Riise (i dag Old St. Croix) har valgt at st\u00f8tte.<\/p><p>Vi har i samarbejde med Fregatten Jylland skabt den eksklusive rom blend \u201dFregatten Jylland Royal Danish Navy\u201d. Riise Spirits (i dag Old St. Croix) har doneret 37.020 kroner til bevarelsen af det historiske krigsskib, som er et af verdens st\u00f8rste. Fregatten spillede en central rolle i den danske fl\u00e5des historie og bes\u00f8gte hele fem gange de Dansk Vestindiske \u00d8er, hvor apotekeren Albert Heinrich Riise grundlagde sit apotek. \u201dDet er denne historiske forbindelse, der inspirerer os til at st\u00f8tte bevarelsen af Fregatten Jylland, s\u00e5 fremtidige generationer kan v\u00e6rds\u00e6tte og l\u00e6re af vores f\u00e6lles fortid. Hans rom blev dog hurtig popul\u00e6r til andet end medicinske form\u00e5l, og i 1893 vandt The A.H. Riise Company sin f\u00f8rste internationale guldmedalje i forbindelse med Verdensudstillingen i Chicago.\u00a0Han udviklede og forfinede st\u00e6rke brands som Old St. Croix Brand, Riises Guava Rum, A.H. Riise Rum og meget mere.<\/p>\n<p>Senere blev Riise tildelt adskillige \u00e6restitler p\u00e5 St. Thomas.
