Wife\u2019s Family Scholarship f\u00fcr die Digitalisierung des umfassenden Familienarchivs, um es f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich zu machen. Au\u00dferdem finanzieren wir eine Reihe von Ausbildungsstipendien f\u00fcr Mitglieder der Familie Riise.<\/p>\n<p>Alle f\u00fcnf Jahre veranstaltet die Familie an Albert Heinrichs Geburtstag eine Feier. Old St. Croix unterst\u00fctzt diese Feier mit einem Unterhaltungsprogramm, Cocktails und nat\u00fcrlich einer Verkostung. Anl\u00e4sslich der Feier im Jahr 2015 haben wir einen besonderen Blend entwickelt, den Old St. Croix Family Reserve, der sich seitdem gro\u00dfer Beliebtheit erfreut. Damit erhielt er auch das Monopol zur Herstellung von Alkohol in seiner Apotheke.<\/p>\n<p>Zu Beginn entwickelte Albert Rum und Bitter als Medizin gegen Magenbeschwerden. Schnell erfreute sich sein Rum aber auch abseits medizinischer Indikationen wachsender Beliebtheit, was Albert im Jahr 1893 sogar eine internationale Goldmedaille bei der Weltausstellung in Chicago einbrachte.<\/p>\n<p>Riise erschuf traditionsreiche, erfolgreiche Marken wie \u201eOld St. Croix\u201c, \u201eRiises Guava Rum\u201c, \u201eA.H. Riise Rum\u201c und viele mehr. Auf St. Thomas wurde er im Laufe der Zeit mit vielen \u00c4mtern betraut.
