Im Laufe seiner aktiven Zeit wurde es von verschiedenen Offizieren kommandiert, darunter auch von Prinz Karl, dem sp\u00e4teren K\u00f6nig Haakon von Norwegen. Valdemar Riise, Sohn von A.H. Riise, begegnete der prachtvollen Fregatte, als sie in der Hauptstadt von St. Thomas, Charlotte Amalie, ankerte. Heute ist das Schiff das gr\u00f6\u00dfte noch erhaltene Holzschiff der Welt. Es ist damit nicht nur ein wichtiger Teil der d\u00e4nischen Geschichte, sondern geh\u00f6rt auch zum Kulturerbe der Welt. Es ist also kein Zufall, dass wir genau diesen Teil unserer Geschichte und der Geschichte der Welt mit einem exklusiven Blend ehren und unterst\u00fctzen: dem \u201eThe Frigate Jylland Royal Danish Navy\u201c-Blend. In diesem Jahr spendet Old St. Croix <strong>34.200 DKK (\u20ac4.576)<\/strong> an die Fregatte Jylland \u2013 das gr\u00f6\u00dfte erhaltene Holzkriegsschiff der Welt.<\/p><p data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"536\">Mit der diesj\u00e4hrigen Spende haben Old St. Croix und unsere Kunden nun gemeinsam mehr als <strong>240.000 DKK (\u20ac32.100)<\/strong> zum Erhalt des historischen Schiffes beigetragen.<\/p><p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"879\">Die Fregatte Jylland unternahm zwischen 1871 und 1887 f\u00fcnf Reisen zu den D\u00e4nisch-Westindischen Inseln. Hier, auf St. Thomas, gr\u00fcndete der Apotheker Albert Heinrich Riise im Jahr 1838 seine Apotheke. Die Verbindung zwischen D\u00e4nemark und den Westindischen Inseln ist ein wichtiger Teil jener Geschichte, die Old St. Croix bis heute inspiriert.<\/p><p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1173\">\u201eMit dieser Spende tragen wir dazu bei, ein einzigartiges St\u00fcck gemeinsamen Kulturerbes zu bewahren. Wir sind stolz darauf, dazu beizutragen, dass die Geschichte der d\u00e4nischen Seefahrt und die Verbindung zu den D\u00e4nisch-Westindischen Inseln lebendig bleibt\u201c, sagt Vertriebsleiter Bj\u00f8rn Jensen.<\/p><p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1286\">Die Spende wurde an Connie Riddersholm, Veranstaltungs- und Shopkoordinatorin der Fregatte Jylland, \u00fcberreicht.<\/p><p data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1516\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Ein herzliches Dankesch\u00f6n an alle, die sich f\u00fcr Royal Danish Navy \u2013 Fregatten Jylland entschieden haben.
