Each year, Old St. Croix Spirits awards an educational grant to a member of the Riise Family. In 2024, A.H. Riise and Wife’s Family Scholarship was awarded to Jacob Stenbak Helweg-Larsen, who recently completed a semester project on transportation and urban mobility. The grant enabled Jacob to travel to Prague to study the city’s infrastructure and sustainability compared to developments in Copenhagen. “I have gained deeper insight into the complexity of public transport and the challenges that come with creating sustainable infrastructure. I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the trip and to be able to implement these experiences in our project,” says Jacob.
