Old St. Croix

The Original Taste of the West Indies

Old St. Croix captures the spirit of the West Indies in every drop. Our blends honour the legacy of Danish pharmacist Albert Heinrich Riise, who more than 150 years ago made Danish-West Indian spirits known around the world under this historic name. Today, we carry on the tradition, creating soft, rounded aromas that evoke warm breezes, exotic scents, and the taste of the old Caribbean. Welcome to Old St. Croix – where history flows in your glass.

We’ve created a timeline that tells the story of more than 150 years of Old St. Croix. Among the highlights is the gold medal at the 1893 World Exhibition in Chicago.

A Legend Reborn

Old St. Croix Legacy is a modern interpretation of the original Old St. Croix blend, created to mark our transition from A.H. Riise to Old St. Croix.

150 years ago, Danish pharmacist and adventurer Albert Heinrich Riise introduced spirits from the West Indies to the world under the name Old St. Croix – a tribute to the lush Caribbean island of St. Croix, renowned for its sugarcane cultivation.
