Old St. Croix Ultra Premium

Non Plus Ultra Very Rare

42% vol.

Non Plus Ultra means “nothing further beyond”—a Latin phrase once said to mark the boundary between the known and the unknown world. It is also the name of our exclusive series of ultra-premium blends, where the limits of flavor and finesse are continually redefined. Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra - Very Rare is only produced when our Master Distiller identifies casks of truly exceptional quality from the finest distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America. The blend is aged in oak barrels that previously held fortified and sweet dessert wines. This careful aging adds layers of complexity, sweetness, and aromatic depth—resulting in an elegant and harmonious spirit with a long, refined finish.

Old St. Croix –
A piece of Danish rum-history

150 years ago, A.H. Riise put Danish rum from the West Indies on the world map under the trademark “Old St. Croix”. The island of St. Croix – The Garden of the West Indies – was the center of cultivation of sugarcane and the production of sugar in the Danish West Indies from the early 1700s. The by-product molasses was used to make rum. To this day, the heart of our blends continues to be distilled on molasses.
