Non Plus Ultra means “nothing further beyond” – a Latin phrase said to have been inscribed on the Pillars of Hercules, marking the edge of the known world. It’s also the name of our ultra-premium series of blends, where the boundaries of flavor and finesse are pushed to their limits. Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra - Black Edition is the most intense expression in the series. Crafted from selected casks sourced from renowned distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America, this blend is matured in heavily charred bourbon barrels. The charring process caramelizes the oak’s natural sugars and unlocks deep, concentrated aromas. The result is a dark, velvety blend with rich body, warm glow, and remarkable balance.

Each batch is limited to a maximum of 2,000 numbered bottles, presented in a sleek, black-cut decanter. Black Edition has received multiple international awards – including Gold at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition.
Old St. Croix Rum ~ 1955 bearing A.H. Riise’s signature. A.H Riise rum has been marketed under various trademarks including Old St. Croix Brand, Riise’s Guava rum and A.H. Riise rum, all now under the umbrella of Old St. Croix Spirits in Denmark.
Old St. Croix Family Reserve was first created in 2015 for a major Riise family reunion – a private gathering that takes place every five years.
